Description
The objective of this study is to use the Vale-Dobker technique to examine the copper chromium (CuCr) electrode of the vacuum circuit breaker. It is an absolutely vital source of high vacuum circuit breakers' design. In vacuum circuit breakers, the electrode is extremely important. A more efficient testing technique for vacuum circuit breaker inside the chamber has been developed. The Vale-Dobker electrical system has been shown to be advantageous as compared to others in evaluations. The testing circuit by Vale-Dobker was used to determine the copper chromium switching characteristics, the voltage was up to 50 kV, and picture was taken with a high speed camera. The results indicate that a capacitive switching characteristic improved the breaking capability of vacuum circuit breakers at high current.
